BTM Global Announces Successful Implementation of
Oracle Retail Point-of-Service and Store Inventory Management for
Perry Ellis International

Retailer saved time and money with BTM Global’s unique approach

MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 23, 2016) – BTM Global, a premier provider of retail system integration and development services, today announced the successful implementation and roll-out of Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS) v14 and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) v14 for Perry Ellis International (PEI) stores throughout the U.S. PEI is one of the largest branded lifestyle apparel companies in the world with a diverse portfolio of brands distributed through multiple channels.

BTM Global brought a unique approach that allowed the project to be completed in an expedited timeframe. As part of a larger Oracle Retail v14 project, BTM Global upgraded ORPOS v14 and SIM v14 from v12 rather than perform a new implementation. As a result, the entire project and rollout was completed in less than nine months, meeting the deadlines for the holiday season. PEI is now able to provide secure payment via tokenization, enhanced customer interaction at the register with the integration to VeriFone MX925 payment device, along with the ability to accept new tenders such as Apple Pay. This was the first enterprise upgrade to v14 for Oracle Retail.

“We chose BTM Global because of its unique and value-driven approach,” said Filiz Yavuz, senior vice president of business process engineering at Perry Ellis International. “They are a trusted partner because they are strategic thinkers who had PEI’s best interests in mind. With ORPOS v14 and SIM v14, we now have better flexibility and responsiveness that improve customer service and efficiency.”

“It was a sincere pleasure working with PEI, and we are pleased that our approach allowed them to accomplish their ambitious plans within the short timeframe,” said Tom Schoen, president of BTM Global. “Our teams worked closely together, and that trust and collaboration were key to making this project a success.”

In addition to ORPOS v14 and SIM v14, BTM Global implemented the Oracle Merchandising and Store Suite of products, including RMS, RPM, Allocation, Central Office, Back Office and the RIB. BTM Global is a long-time Gold-level member in the Oracle Partner Network Specialized program.
