Meet the Team: Viet Nguyen, Project Manager<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

At BTM Global, we believe our work is about more than technology. It\u2019s about our people and our relationships with clients and colleagues. We hope this \u201cMeet the Team\u201d series gives you a better understanding of the personalities and passions that make up BTM Global!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Working in an exciting environment with talented people was the goal of Viet Nguyen, and he found that at BTM Global Vietnam. As a project manager, Viet is constantly learning new things and helping others to grow. Read on to learn what excites Viet about his work! <\/p>\n

What are your responsibilities at BTM Global? <\/strong>
\nOne of my main responsibilities is to organize and manage the offshore development team and coordinate with the onshore team to ensure a project is delivered to the client within budget, timeline and at the highest quality.
\nI also coordinate with BTM leaders to train and develop employees for future needs, and to explore new technology solutions to improve employee work and project results. <\/p>\n

What made you want to join the BTM Global team? <\/strong>
\nBTM has a good working environment with enthusiastic and talented people. Most especially, the strategic vision of the company aligns with my passion in this field.<\/p>\n

At my previous company, I developed a relatively small but extremely useful system for a client. But the data that had to be processed was extremely large and I dealt with performance issues. I eventually solved the problems and had a satisfied client, but the experience got me interested in big data processing. I wanted to challenge myself in a new way. Through some research, I learned about BTM and its work with retail companies in the U.S., so it was a great fit with what I wanted to do next in my career. <\/p>\n

What excites you about your work?<\/strong>
\nCustomers have a big appetite to improve system functions to maximize customer satisfaction, which always results in big challenges for us! For every obstacle we overcome, it opens my eyes to a new horizon which makes me thrive at work and with the team. I love helping others grow and achieving our common goals.<\/p>\n

What keeps you interested in the tech space?<\/strong>
\nTechnology allows endless possibilities for bringing new value to customers. Omni-channel and tools like machine learning and data science have unlimited opportunities for improvement. We can see these values during the recent Covid crisis. All of these drive my interests.<\/p>\n

Tell us about your life outside of work.<\/strong>
\nWhen I’m not working, I enjoy reading, spending time playing with my kids and traveling with my family. I sometimes go out with my best friends. I also like to be close to nature, so every time I have the opportunity to go back to my hometown, I often go bike riding to blend myself with nature.<\/p>\n

What do you wish others in the industry knew about BTM? <\/strong>
\nBTM is fully committed to our employees and clients, and we feel a great responsibility to help others, such as through the Kids Promise<\/a> charity.<\/p>\n
