Meet the Team: Nicola Adusei-Sarkodie, Business Analyst

Nicola had high expectations when she was considering her next career move. She wanted an environment of constant change, a culture of collaboration and to be surrounded by smart, creative coworkers. We caught up with Nicola to learn why BTM Global was the right move!

What are your responsibilities at BTM?

As a business analyst, I make sure the technology fits the client. I’m responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, as well as designing and validating solutions to meet business needs.

As a functional lead on my project, I drive the work and facilitate the planning and estimation for project deliverables within a given time frame. I also facilitate communication between our Minneapolis and Vietnam teams to prioritize project work, collaborate and deliver sound solutions on time.

What made you want to join BTM?

I was looking for an environment where I could own what I do and thrive in the brilliance and creativity of people who enjoy collaboration and strive for success. Guess what? I found all of that at BTM!

What excites you about your work?

Because our work is driven by retailers’ reactions to consumer behavior, it’s never a dull moment. I love the ever-changing nature of my work.

I also like to see tangible results. As a business analyst, a big part of my work is taking a requirement that can sometimes be abstract and turning it into a tangible business solution for my clients. The reward is seeing my contributions become reality on go-live day. Can’t beat that!

What do you wish others in the industry knew about BTM?

BTM comes to the table with a partnership in mind. You can always walk away with a holistic solution for long-term success!

Tell us about your life outside of work.

My husband and children rock my world every day. When I am not busy with my family, I enjoy baking, dancing and lounging.
