Meet the Team: Bao Phu, Delivery Manager

Bao Phu is based out of our Vietnam office and works on both Vietnam and U.S. NetSuite projects. Read why he appreciates the BTM work environment, team culture, and what he learns from each new client!

What are your responsibilities at BTM?
I work in the BTM Vietnam office, and I manage Vietnam NetSuite projects and all Vietnam resources working on U.S. NetSuite projects. I also participate in the presale process to find new customers for NetSuite Vietnam. My main mission is to grow the BTM NetSuite team and achieve a high level of success.

What made you want to join the BTM Global team?
BTM provides a lot of challenges and opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills in many different areas. I’ve done coding, data warehouse, customer support, team leadership, project management…I’ve enjoyed every title I’ve had at BTM!

The variety of work helps me grow and gain dynamic skills in various areas. Besides that, it would be hard to find a place with as great of a working environment as BTM has: We work together, play sports together, and really have fun as a big team.

What excites you about your work?
I am currently working on implementing ERP projects. There are many things to experience after each project. I have opportunities to see many people with different areas of expertise and they are very talented. There’s always somethings to learn from them.

I also enjoy having great teams with excellent team members not only at work, but also at activities and events. BTM is a nice environment to work and support one another.

What do you wish others in the industry knew about BTM?
BTM has great teams with excellent knowledge of Oracle NetSuite products. BTM has become an Oracle Gold Partner due to our expertise and many years of experience working in this industry. In Vietnam, BTM is one of the very few partners that are implementing Oracle NetSuite ERP.

We have talented team members with a variety of NetSuite certifications, and BTM has unique NetSuite products specifically for Vietnam companies, such as Financial Localization, E-Invoice integration, Bank Integration and Data Residency.

What keeps you interested in the industry?
I enjoy helping clients implement NetSuite and resolving their challenges. Every client has different issues that need our support. When starting on a new project, it is a new challenge and also a new opportunity to experience new things. I enjoy the new knowledge I gain with each project.

Tell us about your life outside of work.
I enjoy outdoor activities; I usually spend my weekends outside with family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies, reading or listening to (audio) books in my free time.
