Event Network is Live with Mobile POS Solution

Operator of cultural attraction retail stores increases sales with Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service backed by BTM’s deep knowledge and stellar support

MINNEAPOLIS (March 21, 2019) – BTM Global, a premier provider of retail system integration and development services and a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced that Event Network is now live with Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS)solution. Event Network is a leading operator of cultural attraction retail stores, and has partnerships with museums, aquariums and other iconic destinations throughout North America.

With BTM Global’s flexible implementation approach that prioritizes client needs over a strict template, Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service was developed, implemented and validated for Event Network in just 90 days. Event Network piloted the use of tablets for mobile check-out at one of its largest events of the year, and successfully captured several thousand dollars in sales that could potentially have otherwise been lost or abandoned. The use of the tablets helped reduce queue wait times within the store while providing the ability to capture sales at any location throughout the event. BTM Global team members were on site to support the roll-out and configured additional tablets for associates as demand increased during the event.
